Aim

The fundamentals of Information Theory including the basic source coding and channel coding theorems.

Prerequisites

  • Undergraduate studies
  • Solid foundation in probability and calculus
  • Pleasure with mathematics

Lectures: ETF C 1, Wednesday, 14:15 – 16:00
Tutorials: ETF C 1, Wednesday, 16:15 – 18:00

Lectures and tutorials will be held in person with no live-streaming or recording.

The lectures and exercises are held in English.

Examination

Written exam (3 hours).
